Old Hdd that came in one the laptops rattles but Acer Aspire 1310 boots Windows XP

Nov 2016 Old Hdd that came in one the laptops rattles but Acer Aspire 1310 boots Windows XP. I have now ordered another 3 60gb IDE hdds from ebay which should be here in a few days to get the other going but will also get more ram for them.
