Apr 2009

Sorry I had to remove the audio from this video but you can here what it sounds like if you click on this link

Here are my new speakers.
They are the epos els 300 watt subwoofer and a pair of wharfedale XARUS XR5000 party speakers which I bought for £155.

The bass sounds crap on the video but thats my nokia n95.

The epos els is very loud and never once have heard it rattle or sound distorted like my other subwoofers.

Also the amps not even turned right up on this video.

And the other sub is a Sony but it was turned off and I dont use it much any more.

Sub info

The Epos ELS subwoofer is a powerful 300W active subwoofer with high quality 10" driver new and sealed . The driver includes 2" voice coil and large magnet size to handle very high power levels for long periods without distress. It has been designed to enable the subwoofer to integrate perfectly with a two-channel system that requires additional bass extension or of course as part of a 5.1 system, ideally with other speakers.

Back panel controls include Volume, Low Filter, High Filter and Phase adjustment controls (these low and high level Inputs allow the subwoofer to be driven either from loudspeaker outputs direct from a power amp or pre-amp).

Its power switch features a standby function that sends the amplifier to sleep when not used and wakes up automatically when it receives a signal.

Another benefit is the fixed height legs, which can be used on their own or with the matching wooden plinth that protects the driver and allows the driver to breath properly.
