This looks like an old Non HD set so maybe not worth fixing.

ASUS VE278Q TN Panel VS Iiyama Prolite X2783HSU-B1 AMVA+ - And LG PK350 Plasma screens
In this video I show the difference between these.
The ASUS VE278Q does not seem to look as bad as it does in real life but the Prolite X2783HSU-B1 is way better.
You can really see how much better the blacks are on the big TV though and no backlight bleeding what so ever LOL

Unboxing
So I got the ASUS VE278Q but I am sending this back.
Its OK to use for the PS3 but a night mare to try watch TV on.
It had such good reviews but guess you cannot always go by them.
Also there is light bleeding round the edge to.
No dead pixels but its just no good for say watching the news.
And
WOW
The Iiyama Prolite X2783HSU-B1 seems far better for viewing TV.
The blacks seem to look black and whites OK to.
VA screen seems much better from sitting on my bed to.
I do not notice light bleed around the edge like the other one to.
Its not blue at all like the Asus.
Will test more tonight when its darker.
